Lovely cottage for a weekend away. It had everything we needed including OS maps! And a lovely pub 4 doors away. Host was really easy to contact and helpful before we went.

Brilliant location, very clean and very well equipped. Parking was very convenient.

I would have liked a sofa instead of 2 chairs.

Really appreciated how clean the property was. Easy parking, close to the things we wanted to do, and very good value for money. I was worried the road might be noisy but didn't notice it at all. Even had a view from the window.

A couple of coat hooks behind the front door (or somewhere) would be really useful. Would have appreciated a pint of milk in the fridge, but it wasn't really an issue. Some gentler lighting in bedroom/lounge would help make it cosy.

The property is situated a few miles out of Machynlleth, with stunning views of the rolling hills and a pub just a few doors down. We were also impressed by the raised garden overlooking the hills as well as the mini waterfall adjacent to it. Well equipped with all the bits and bobs you might need to cook dinner etc. Perfect for couples. We will be coming back!

Only issue was that the oven was making loads of smoke when turned on - we were worried about setting off the fire alarms. After the further inspection I believe what caused the smoke was the foil that was lining the drip tray below. When we took that out we could cook our food normally.

Everything! Lots of nice personal touches, even had a bottle of prosecco in the fridge to see the new year in with, would definitely return again
