Everything was great. Beautiful apartments, beautiful view, great rooms. Plus we were able to charge our EV from solar power!

Be advised that the drive is not for beginners or passengers who get road sick easily. All GPS systems/apps we tested were suggesting imprudent routes through streets that should be one way but aren’t. In our experience your best bet for the least adventurous ride is sticking to Viale Malaspina/SS446. You need to allow for extra time to get anywhere from the place. But the view and nice breeze is a good reward.

The house has everything you might need and the views are beautiful. It did mention mosquito's in a previous review but we went in August and didn't really have any issues. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you might need for a lovely stay. The surrounding areas of Sarzana, Lerici and Cinque Terre are fabulous to go and see. But our favourite day out was to Porto Fino, it was stunning :)

I did have to phone the owner to find out how to get in. I have no doubt that Donata would have made sure she was around to take the call, but had the info been sent a few hours earlier it might have been easier. I do think also, having a guest book with various info eg how to open the safe etc would be helpful. Be prepared for the drive to the house and villages nearby etc at times to be quite challenging.

We had a great stay! Very cosy and very clean, beautiful views from the terrace. The view of the castle is just gorgeous! The house itself is decorated in such a cosy manner, we felt at home right away. We asked for something to block the stairs for our small children, and the owner placed a babygate, so kind. An enclosed garden with safe fences/walls for children, so we could let our kids run around without a worry. The pool and pool area were great as well: Again, very cosy, and very clean. The pool itself was bit chilly for the children, but I expect that depends on the weather.

There were a lot of mosquitos... I think it's an especially 'good' mosquito year in a lot of countries. The beds did have a mosquito net fortunately.

Beautiful accommodation with breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset. The host Donata was wonderful and super helpful if there was any question.

The view from the property is stunning, beyond what we were expecting. The property itself was just fabulous and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a bottle of prosecco to greet us upon arrival which was a lovely, and much needed, touch. Couldn't fault it at all. Recommended 100%.

We loved everything. A really nice place up on the hill, approx. 90 curves and 500 meter up from sarzana. We will be back!
