"Dreadful Caravan site"

The Caravan was exceptional, spotlessly clean . Well equipped, lovely view but let down by the park its on . Onsite shop permanently closed , miles away from any other shops . Bar/ clubhouse only open limited hours Thursday to Sunday after 5pm and no entertainment so nothing to do especially on a midweek break .

The site has no facilities whatsoever and a long walk from the poor stony beach .

"A lovely relaxing family break in peaceful surroundings."

Very clean and well kitted out caravan. Peaceful surroundings with a lovely view over fields and the sea looking towards Ailsa Craig. Hosts responded to messages and enquiries straight away and were very helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Enjoyed beach walks, rock pooling, bird watching and shell collecting at Dunure and Greenan (just south of Ayr) Highlight was spotting 6 seals on the rocks at the beach in front of the Dowhill Farm shop, just by the turning to the road to the caravan park. We parked in the layby and followed the track down.
