Die eingestellten Bilder sind 100% authentisch. Nichts wurde retuschiert. Die Sonne bietet allabendlich ein unglaublich schönes Schauspiel: Der Sonnenuntergang, optisch genau vor dem Haus, ist ein Erlebnis für sich. Das Haus ist wunderschön abgelegen. Von beiden Nachbarhäusern, etwa jeweils 75 Meter entfernt, hört man manchmal ein Lachen - das wars. Vom Dorf auf der anderen Inselseite ist nichts zu bemerken. Die Zufahrt ist fast überall geteert und befestigt, legiglich ein kleines Stück, etwa 100 Meter mitten der Strecke, ist guter Schotter. Ansonsten sind die etwa 4 Kilometer ins Dorf mit dem Auto in sehr leichten 6 Minuten machbar. Kleiner Tipp: wenn Sie mit einem Mietwagen anreisen, nehmen Sie einen Diesel, die Elastizität an den Steigungen ist einfach entspannter. Und vergessen Sie die Kamera nicht, die Ausblicke allein auf der Fahrt vom / zum Haus sind spektakulär. Zu Marko, den Vermieter: Ein symphatischer, hilfsbereiter junger Mann, der offenbar vieles in Eigenleistung aufgebaut hat und nebenbei das Lebenswerk seiner Oma, nämlich den Olivenölanbau, aus Tradition weiter betreibt, sich aber mit dem Haus ein Standbein aufgebaut hat und noch einen Beruf hat. Und - man ahnt es- gutes Englisch spricht. Sehr bemüht, sehr kundenorientiert und auch Sicherheitsaspekte berücksichtigend. So sind z.B. Feuerlöscher vorhanden, ein Umstand, den ich noch in keinem Robinsonhaus vorfand. Manche Dinge sind pfiffig gelöst, die Moskitotüren z.B. sind selbstgebaut und passen perfekt. Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar, die richtige Mischung zwischen Badeurlaub, Kultur erleben und einfach runterkommen. Und immer einen Backup (Marko) im Zweifelsfall zu haben macht alles ganz einfach. Wir waren zu zweit, eine Woche auch zu viert in zwei Häusern. Mit sechs Leuten nur wenn man sich wirklich gut kennt - oder dies anstrebt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Náš pobyt v tomto domě byl naprosto úžasný! Poloha přímo u moře je skvělá a poskytuje nádherný výhled a klidné prostředí. Každý večer jsme si užívali krásné západy slunce, což bylo opravdu kouzelné. Marko byl velice milý a ochotný hostitel, vždy připravený pomoci s čímkoli, co jsme potřebovali. Dům je dobře udržovaný a čistý, což přispělo k našemu pohodlí. Vybavení domu bylo plně dostačující a ve velmi dobrém stavu. Solární elektřiny byl vždy dostatek. Lednička, mrazák, sporák běžely na plyn a vše fungovalo naprosto spolehlivě. K dispozici jsme měli skvělá lehátka, kajak, paddleboard a další vybavení, což nám umožnilo maximálně si užít pobyt. Gril u domu byl také velice užitečný. Toto místo je naprosto ideální pro odpočinek a relaxaci. Doporučujeme toto ubytování všem, kteří hledají kvalitní, příjemný a klidný pobyt.

It’s a beautiful house not so far away from Vela Luka. The host, Marko thought of everything so there’s nothing you will miss during your stay and he really goes the extra mile for his guests. During the day we were swimming right outside the house or we went to Korcula (city) and during the night we had a fun game night or we were watching the stars. We’ve had an incredible time during our stay and for sure will return in the future!

It’s not a negative point but please be aware that the house is off grid and there are no good roads to drive to the house. Be prepared for the bumpy roads.

This is an exceptional place! The setting is incredible, right on the water, with great views. The property is spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. It was great to be provided with a kayak and SUP for use during our stay. Marko was an excellent host - always responsive, very friendly and happy to provide recommendations for the area.

This isn't meant to be a negative at all, but guests need to know that this place is basically off-grid, so the electricity and hot water supplies are limited. This was never a problem for us, but it's worth being aware of it. Also, it's worth being aware that there are legally no "private" beaches in Croatia, so whilst you'll pretty much have the coastline to yourself, it's perfectly possible for other people to be using the shoreline in front of the property.

If you are looking for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city and tourists, then Villa Insula is perfect for you. You will be there completely alone surrounded by nature. Beautiful sunsets every evening. It is long distance to Korcula, but the time spent traveling will be rewarded with full relaxation. The location away from the city (10-15 minutes) makes it an option for people traveling by car. The access road is narrow but very very charming. The house is well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need. There are 6 sunbeds, you can expose them to the sun or hide them in the shade under the roof. In addition, there is a kayak and SUP, which I used often. Water in the sea is crystal clean. The host is very engaged, he cares about the guests spending their vacation in the best way, he takes care of every detail.
