Rest & Rust

We liked absolutely everything about Rest & Rust!!! The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped; the rural location was really peaceful and quiet but also close to many sites of interest including Utrecht (8 minutes by train); and, Carola and Sjoerd were wonderful hosts who made sure our stay was most enjoyable. We highly recommend this property!!!

Abbiamo vissuto una vacanza meravigliosa in questo appartamento che ci ha sorpreso per la sua bellezza e per l’atmosfera unica della proprietà in cui si trova. La casa è ampia e luminosa, arredata con gusto e con un’attenzione ai dettagli che la rende accogliente e raffinata allo stesso tempo. La cucina è funzionale e completa, perfetta per sentirsi come a casa, mentre i letti comodi ci hanno regalato sonni davvero rigeneranti. Un ringraziamento speciale va al proprietario: una persona gentilissima, simpatica e sempre disponibile, che ha conquistato subito la nostra bimba con la sua cordialità. ♥️ Un soggiorno che rimarrà nei nostri ricordi più belli, in un luogo che sa farti sentire parte di qualcosa di speciale.

Amazing place and such friendly host. We couldn’t have asked for more, it had everything and was set in the most relaxing amazing space a short drive from Utrecht. We will be back!

Very enjoyable, relaxing stay. Very peaceful. No complaints. Nice owners, very available and reachable. Internet solid. Water warm. Has everything you need for your stay. No "surprises". Good recommendations for the area. Nice sheep :) If you have a choice between a hotel and this cottage house, why would you stay at a hotel?

If it matters to you, the reception on the television is a bit weak and there is a delay and I am not sure if all the channels one might expect are available. It may have something to do with being a bit outside of the main area.
