I really enjoyed my stay at Chelo Guest house! Ghela and Manana, the owners, are super friendly and welcoming, they offered me food and wine and took care of all i needed. 😊 The house is really clean and my room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere. The location is also good since you are really close to the center of Ambrolauri. Madloba Ghela and Manana, grazie! 😊

Friendly hosts, clean, lovely interior, great mountain views from the terrace incl hammock to relax, located pretty central!, finally a double bed for a couple after researching other guest houses only offering twin beds!

The location is near the center

We did not feel welcome. There was no kitchen and cups for the guests. The owner walked into our bedroom several times. There was dust of 3 months on the floor. We did not know the departure time of the mashrutka. They had told us in the afternoon, in the bus station. In the morning the owner of Chelo told us the mashrutka had already left. She could have told us the day before, but she kicked us immediately out. The toilet seat was very weak and was broken during our stay. We had to pay it. It was the most expensive stay in Georgia. And the worst. No chairs to sit on. No kitchen, kettle, cups for the guest.
