"Very lovely cottage and we’d definitely return."

The cottage is the perfect size for a short break. It had everything we needed; clean and cosy place, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, lovely hot shower, and plenty to do locally. We found the place easily, and parking was convenient. The owner made sure we felt very welcome.

"Lovely little cottage in a lovely village."

Lovely little cottage in a lovely village. Spacious cottage; everything clean and tidy. Some basic supplies were left for me which was appreciated. I was a solo female traveler and felt very safe and comfortable. 30 mins from all the places I wanted to see from Kielder Observatory and Kielder Water, to Vindolanda and Housesteads Roman Forts and Hexham. I didn't have need of the hosts when I was there but their communications beforehand were excellent and I was advised that they lived nearby if I needed them. Everyone I met in the village and surrounding area was very helpful and friendly too.

"Great spot, great find"

Very comfortable, well equipped property in a thriving little village. Located nicely for day trips to the east coast or any number of inland natural features using fab driving roads. Very good value for money. We will recommend highly to friends and family.

"Wish we could have stayed longer"

Had everything we needed, location fantastic for visiting Hadrians Wall. such a great little village with very friendly people.
