Birmingham's Spacious Uptown Family Retreat

Loved that their was a lot of amenities at the location. There was water provided and even laundry detergent. It was also very clean.

Code wasn’t provided when they said it would be.

Close to all the places I need to visit and spend time with family.

It wasn’t clean had a mildew smell and the previous occupants had a dog that left an odor

the location was ok. the owners provided lots of snacks and fun games for the kids they really put a lot of thought into the kids staying in the home.

the backyard is not easily accessible and the stairs are extremely steep. the home has considerable water damage thru out, repairs are not done properly. Good luck with the front door and patio door. also there are some type of small ant like bugs in the upstairs bath and around the fire place. the downstairs bed is broke. and not put together properly, there is a squirrel in the walls and they owner is aware. all windows have some sort of bugs and spiders all over them and underneath the sill. The water doesn’t get hot and they washer and dryer barely work. The fact that I paid $50 bucks to check out 2 hrs past check out and they called the police on me when I was there 8 min past check out waiting on Uber to show up.

The bed was very comfortable. My kids enjoyed the arcade game that were inside one of the bedrooms.

My only thing was that there was only one TV, which was located in the living area. This was not that big of a deal for the purpose of this stay.
