Cozy Cabin Retreat - Hot Tub, Fireplace & Fire Pit

Everything, the indoor hot tub, the fire pit and the location.

At first the driveway, but we started liking it.

The home was comfy and welcoming 😊 the hot tub inside was amazing! Definitely recommend! Bring firewood and charcoal to utilize your stay!! Very nice

I liked that the cabin size was perfect for a couple. The cabin is 15 minutes away from about everything— P.S. There is a Food Lion closer than the Ingles and the Walmart! We did not know that until the last day of our trip. We loved the hot tub. It seemed very clean. The fire pit would’ve been used if it wasn’t so wet when we visited. The cabin had no pests inside of it! They seem to do a regular check up and spray for that. SO MUCH FUN!! I’d come again. The host was very present in the Booking app as well. Very kind.

The stairs are rough! I would not come here as an older couple (which we are not). We wish there was a broom to sweep some of the leaves off outside. There’s quite a bit of spiders and webs out here, but can’t help that, it’s the outdoors! Couch might need an upgrade and the towels may need to be bought new. They didn’t smell great even after they were washed. The water also smelled odd…but it was nice and hot! These are minor “dislikes” I wouldn’t even say that. My likes still outweigh the “dislikes”.

The parking! I’m not from mountain area so anxiety was through the roof.

Hot tub did not heat properly, grime on the steps of the hot tub. The TV in the bedroom doesn't have a volume remote and is not mounted properly. Chlorine smell understandable but still not good. Couch was uncomfortable to sit on So I can only imagine the pain of someone having to sleep on it. The kitchen floors were also still wet. So we had to wear shoes in the kitchen until it dried.

The lighting outside was acting up so there were dark spots which kept us from sitting outside

The property need a lot of work inside and outside, the pictures is looking new, but it’s not. When I get to the cabin it’s very dirty outside the stairs and the bottom floors , I went to see the fire pit and also noticed need some work in. Soon i went upstairs the front balcony is really dirty again. The front lights not working , it’s very dark on night . Inside the cabin need really a deep clean , the sofa bed need new one . Jacuzzi is very old and don’t work either. I am not lied in my review , I’m very honest. Kitchen need be cleaned and all the amenities as well . Back of the cabin lots of leaves , and the windows also dirty. The only good was the bed very comfortable. Downstairs on the bottom of the cabin need very good work or grass something, the driveway is very steep and can’t go up, if you park you car up not a good à deal. I wish to come back again and give you a good star, …

Parking upstairs is not safe to park up . Very steep and dangerous.
