Bracken Cottage

Cottage was in a perfect location and very clean with lovely furnishing, so nice to have the white horse next door. On arrival we could not find an iron within 30 minutes one was brought to the cottage.

Some points that would have made the cottage even better was a larger newer fridge, it was very small and struggled to keep everything cold in the heat over the weekend. A washing line and pegs in the courtyard to dry towels and some laundry we had done.

Everything you needed was there. It was cute with lovely accessories like fluffy towels and a lovely and totally unexpected hamper. All lovely touches

The stairs were extremely difficult to navigate and actually a write up that those with any physical limitations couldn’t manage them should be part of the right up. It really isn’t suitable for 4 adults

Great location, clean, and well maintained. Plentiful Twinning Teas and good coffee. Nice little welcome pack. Cosy cottage

No teapot ;) no clear recycling bin. Stairs very steep, so just be mindful if mobility is impaired, as no rail either

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfectly located for exploring the coastal paths along the marsh or heading to the beautiful Brancaster beach. Spoilt for choice with nearby pubs and eatery’s.

We loved the welcome pack (biscuits and fresh milk were very welcome), the decoration and the beds beautifully made (including the cot bed for our toddler). We really appreciated that the hosts also put a high chair at our disposal and that the bedrooms had proper black out blinds. We were also positively surprised by the availability of a Netflix account.

The house is on the main road with a lot of through traffic. It is a shame that there is no nearby access to the Norfolk Coast Path which is very closeby but quite inaccessible from the property.

Nothing really. Be careful of upstairs with the stairs location as the second bedroom entrance is right on stairs
