Cromhall Farm

The accommodation exceeded our expectations and Catherine is a wonderful host. A breakfast basket was there for us on arrival and the place was spotless.

The property is on a very narrow one car width lane and is a bit out of town. The stone paving outside of the apartment is very slippery when wet.

needs a lot of maintenance doing to it and wasn’t as the pictures appeared nor did it reflect the comments of others from a year ago. rotten windows and doors, kitchen doors not closing, damp rotten wood under bathroom sink, shower all line scale and soap scum, cobwebs, spiders, wood lice, dirty oven and fridge and cupboards, the sofa is dirty and stained. Such a shame and disappointing. I think my husband was too polite to say when we were greeted by the owner on the morning we were about to leave. I think his response to any feedback was it could do with a mop and hoover which was an understatement.

Beautiful place! We were supplied with eggs and pastries for the morning, plus orange juice and milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. Water pressure in the shower was incredible as well I could have spent an hour in there. Gorgeous views on a morning - there's a pen of chickens just across from the gardens so it was nice waking up to the girls. And there's a lovely little dog running around called Burger! Would return 100%. It's quite rural so you'll need a car but you're in good proximity to lots of beautiful villages and scenery.

Nothing comes to mind! The only suggestion I'd have - and want to stress suggestion over complaint - is having an additional sofa/arm chair in the living room. More so to be able to sit across from each other when eating/chatting/drinking etc. No other comments to make though, we loved it!

Perfect accommodation in a quiet setting within easy reach of the M4, Bath and surrounding area.
