Amazing location! Great host! Will return in January!

The property is right by one of the main squares (Placa Nova) a few minutes walk from the cathedral (Basilica de Santa Maria). In the square there was a lovely restaurant/bar (Cafe es Bou) which I can thoroughly recommend for the wonderful staff, superb food and some great "menu" deals. Loads of narrow streets to explore, shops and restaurants to visit and just take in the atmosphere. We were recommended a car park only a few minutes walk from the property with plenty of free spaces (24 hours) although you could drive to the property just to unload if needed (no parking nearby). Property on three levels. Three great bedrooms (two with double beds with ensuite bathrooms, and one with two single beds). There was a third shower room/toilet "outside" next to the laundry room and BBQ area/outdoor kitchen situated at the end of a long narrow courtyard. Up some steps on top of this area was a "terrace" which was a lovely sun trap but great to hang out laundry! The property is well fitted with a full kitchen that includes microwave, oven and dishwasher. Loads of cutlery and crockery. Everything you need for a dinner party!! Decor included some lovely pieces of furniture, no sign of flat packed items here! Maybe slightly dated in parts but clean and well kept. Really comfortable and the electric heating was needed on a few nights in November! There is an amazing restaurant a few doors up the same street, which sadly we didn't have time to visit and it was not open every evening. The host was wonderful. Met us at the property, and kept in touch by WhatsApp. His English was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Ciutadella again and cannot recommend this property enough.

Bear in mind that in November or during the winter there are many properties vacant and lots of businesses closed. We stayed in the north for part of this trip and it was quite challenging to find local restaurants that were open. Same goes for supermarkets although distances are never great on this small island! The weather also means that you are unlikely to be able to swim in the sea or even in outdoor pools unless you are very brave! The only negative about the property was that there weren't enough pegs for the laundry!! Otherwise everything was fantastic and we really hope to be back. Also bear in mind that the property is on three levels with quite steep stairs! So not ideal for elderly or anyone who struggles with stairs. Otherwise you will keep fit!!

The exposed stonework throughout the building was stunning. And it's a perfect location with 2 plazas within a minute's walk in either direction.

The staircase was quite steep and so my elderly parents had to be very careful, but that they slept on the first floor, so not really a problem.

The location of the house was right next to the center of Ciutedella. The house itself had 3 separate bathrooms, 2 ensuite and one bathroom on ground floor. It was fully equipped and all rooms had air conditioning. Would definitely recommend it.

Location was amazing. Incredible host who provided such helpful local knowledge about restaurants and beaches. So friendly and accommodating.

It was out of season so a few of the cupboards had a slightly damp smell to them but it by no means affected our stay. Would’ve been useful to know how to manage recycling.
