Exceptional stay at 20 The Rosebush! We had a truly wonderful family stay at 20 The Rosebush. From the outset, our host’s attentiveness was incredible – we received long, thoughtful WhatsApp messages packed with helpful information on where to eat, where to shop, and what to explore in the area. It really made us feel welcomed and well-prepared. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire. We loved driving through the scenic country lanes to sites like St Davids Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace. That said, if you prefer not to drive, there are beautiful walks right from the doorstep – ideal for soaking in the peaceful countryside. One of the highlights was the fantastic welcome basket. The wine, enjoyed with a delicious cheese and meat platter, made it special. The Tafarn Sinc, a charming community pub just a short stroll away, served excellent food and added to the overall experience. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer – two nights weren’t nearly enough. Our guests from England who joined us are already looking for dates to return, and we sincerely hope we’ll be back as well. Thank you for going the extra mile and making our stay so memorable!

"Peaceful retreat in idyllic setting"

9.0

It has been recently refurbished very tastefully and was extremely comfortable. The location is incredibly quiet and an absolutely beautiful view out from windows at the rear of the property. We were greeted with a lovely hamper of indulgences to help celebrate a birthday and Darren was very informative and attentive- exemplary! Plenty of utensils and the like. The community of Rosebush seems very friendly and we had a warm reception at Tafarn Sinc which could also be described as “quirky”. Jess the pub cat is very friendly. Lovely walks within easy reach and fascinating archaeological sites short drives away. The sea about 20 mins away.

"Needed some family reconnecting and tuning out time – Y Teras ticked all the boxes."

9.0

Location is great – community run pub (Tafarn Sinc) and cheese factory (a must if you love cheese!) both a very short walk away; brilliant trails for walking, running/mountain biking (also saw gravel bikers) around the park and quarry, right on our doorstep. Think the map (at the gate) said 12km of trails – no shortage, especially if you have a dog with you. The cottage itself is well equipped and the wood burner was amazing and made for a really cozy stay in otherwise stormy autumn weather. Did some outings to Poppit Sands (beach), St. David’s (Whitesands beach and lunch at The Bishops – was good) and Haverfordwest for a grocery top-up; all easily accessible. Went to Mantle brewery in Cardigan but the more local Bluestone pale ale at the pub was really good too. Also enjoyed a lovely lunch at Caffi'r Sgwar (not far from Sarah’s shop). There is so much more we could have seen/done, but we’ll save that for next time. The owners are very accommodating and quick to respond to queries. Thank you!

"Super nice host and beautiful cottage. Not suitable when sensitive to damp buildings"

10.0

I loved everything about the cottage and every little extra pieces of welcoming us. Host is fantastic

The weather in Wales is too wet and property is damp.
