Greenwood Grange

A stunning property

Amazing place to stay. Clean and family friendly with so much to do on site. Lovely quiet location in the countryside yet only minutes by car to Dorchester and it’s amenities. Games room and tennis courts were a real hit for us as a family with a 5 year old son. And the hot tub was a great way to relax under the stars.

Only downside was that there wasn’t a TV in the smaller bedroom.

This was an ideal retreat for my friend and I. So relaxing and everything you need for a fuss free break away from home. It is close to Weymouth a lovely old fashioned seaside town and lots of other historrical attractions. The wooded area behind is simply magical and the walks are mesmerising. The staff are smiling, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back in the future.

Faultless

Loved the location, the apartment, the little playground area, the cafe nearby, the short drives to all of the interesting places, the open spaces. It was brilliant.

Very nice place

Great location with easy access to Dorchester and the Jurassic coast. Lots of local walks. Good facilities within the house. Everything worked as expected. The staff were good.

Jackie/Jaqui met us on arrival and showed us around. She was really lovely and extremely helpful during the whole of our stay.

Nothing.

Great facilities, comfortable and in a great location. The cottage and gardens were perfect for our child - she loved the play area and getting to visit the chickens. The staff were amazing too - so friendly and helpful!

We liked everything.

Everything- beautiful setting, lots of walks, taxi links, dog friendly, even treats on arrival, great staff, excellent customer service and communication. Grounds and cottage stunning. Spacious - our Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog had plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen. Large garden with private hot tub access, direct parking space. Site facilites included games room, laundry room, with extra cottage supplies, enclosed dog area, cafe over road.

Nothing really, but to be picky, I didn't like the pathway that looks into the bedroom of the cottage we stayed in and with the blind closed you lost all natural light. Would be a a nice touch to have a covered, outside bin in the garden of dog friendly cottages, or dog poo bins closer to the back cottages (only cos we have big dogs and you know what that means.)
