Brilliant location

Some minor wear and tear; did not bother

Beds were very comfortable, it's very central and has everything you need. Comfy couches and great fireplace that warmed things up Indoor braai was very useful as it was very cold to braai outside Lovely setting on the little dam It suited our needs for 2 families and was reasonably priced Close to town so you can walk everywhere

It was a bit of a dated set up, old kitchen and not as well appointed as we're used to The fireplace leaked smoke into the kids bedroom upstairs which was awful Only one remote for 2 families made entry and exit a real issue

At this house in CHritchley Common you cant hear the main road like you can in others.

The bathroom and kitchen are a bit dated but still in good condition and clean.

Photos on the website are outdated, so it was a pleasant surprise finding crisp white linen on the beds in the downstairs bedrooms, new/upgraded stove & lounge couches, updated bathroom. The weekend was extremely cold so we enjoyed the fireplace & sports (F1 & soccer) on DSTV, there was enough wood to have that fireplace going for hours.

There was a “dirty drain/sewerage smell” every morning between 8-9am, not sure what that was. We didn’t see an iron & ironing board, we didn’t need it but it would be useful to have especially in summer.
