Tangle Tower

The property was beautiful, the views from the water side amazing and the space and rooms all beautifully decorated and quirky with the history weaved through so well! The bed in the downstairs bedroom was so comfortable.

Nothing re the property but the surrounding area a little run down. This did not however affect our stay and when in the tower all of the facilities focus you to the outstanding water view! One small request for our next visit would be shampoo and conditioner in the beautiful bathroom.

The property was BEAUTIFULLY renovated. You couldn't beat that view, especially from the top room/snug. The whole place was nicely equipped with lovely furnishing, good kitchen supplies (aside from dull knives and a glass chopping board), washer/dryer, binoculars to see the wildlife, underfloor heating, and a big bathtub.

The mattress in the ground floor bedroom was very uncomfortable and left both my spouse and me with hip pain. Someone had changed the boiler settings so we had difficulty with getting hot water when we wanted it (it was set four hours ahead of the current time). I would suggest that whoever handles the property keep on eye on it for the future to make sure that settings are where they should be. Just a note to everyone, that the property is a bit far from the city centre and grocery shops. Since the buses can be a bit temperamental and cancel abruptly, I recommend anyone staying here have a reliable method of transportation to get around.

The area was a bit rough and it was quite far out of town. We probably should of checked this before booking Cost us a lot in taxi's

The view over the water was amazing. Everything we needed was provided. Wildlife watching from the back garden.
