Ardgarry Holiday House

We were a group of 9, and we stayed only for one night, we didn't have a chance to explore the house as much as we wanted. However, we all agreed that it would be perfect to stay longer and enjoy the place as it was spacious and accommodating for a big group. The location was great with the short walking distance to the city centre. Gary was a great and helpful host throughout our stay, and even after we left! Definitely recommend the place if you are an easygoing group.

Self catering. Great location, close to convienience store and main shopping and eating areas.

Some minor maintenence required on front door latch, some weird light switch arrangement in extension bedroom.

Beautiful old house with lots of space and good number of beds for a group booking. Also allows dogs. 👍🏻

Decor is a little outdated but very nice and clean.

Excellent property in an ideal location. Host was first class and the trip couldn’t have gone any better.

We were a party of six adults that needed a bunch of separate bedrooms. The house provided multiple rooms, 2 of which were primary suites and the others were smaller. The kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room comfortable, and having a separate washer and dryer was a huge help. We had a rental car and being able to park it right next to the property was very convenient. The host gave us some insights on places in walking distance that were excellent for music and drinks.We used the house as a base from which we went out and explored Inverness and the surrounding areas. I would definitely book it again if traveling to Inverness.

Location

Very dirty with stained furniture. One of the bedrooms is directly off of the kitchen with no window. This room has an adjacent walk in passageway off of which is a shower room with a very small window high above the sink that is locked with no key. The light switch is in the wardrobe. Chairs in kitchen badly stained. Skirting boards filthy and peeling wallpaper. Garden weeds and rusting filthy garden furniture. Paintwork throughout house dirty. Towels old and thin. We went and bought new pillows and pillowcases, bed throws and mugs to use. The accommodation is drab and dingy more like a house of multiple occupation than a holiday let. It’s very near the town centre. There was a strong smell of fish upstairs at one point. The owner called out an electrician to go into the house while we were out to check the electrics

Great place, able to have everyone together. Location is brilliant and the amount of facilities available is superb.

Garry was always checking in to make sure we found the house, were happy with the house, if we slept well did we need anything etc. Nothing felt like a bother and we knew we could get in touch if we needed anything. The house was perfect for a family of 5 adults, 4 children and a baby and there was still an empty bedroom. Plenty of toilets and showers so no queues and the kids loved the huge space to let off steam playing hide n seek 🤣. Lovely and warm with plenty hot water and a very well equiped kitchen with dining table, washing machine and dishwasher. There is parking for 2 cars off street parking but its very tight and kids had to get out and unpack cars before parking but we had 3 cars and with a bit of forward thinking we made it work. We had disabled badges in 2 cars so we could park on the double yellow lines with 1 car that said there seemed to be parking outwith the permit only spaces around the area if needed. It was in a quiet location within walking distance to shops, pubs etc. We used deliveroo for takeaways and there was no huge delay or problem finding the house for them. We will be staying again for sure

Little bit tired in areas but we didn't mind we just wanted to be all together over New Year for some quality time which was more important to us!!

Great house, great location.

Perfect location. Large, comfortable home, so good for an extended family holiday. The host was friendly and helpful.
