Alberts Dairy Cottage

Welcome breakfast of fresh bread, butter, eggs, local jam, fresh orange, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and bottled water. Quiet location. Lots of linen. Very comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Hairdryer. Mega illuminated bathroom mirror with de-mister!

Sofa was a sofa bed, ok for short periods as not the most comfortable. Incredibly strong laundry smell (possibly the laundry vents into the bathroom or perhaps shares a vent?) The smell of freshly washed linen was overpowering in the small space and kept us awake. We opened the doors to vent during the day. Bedroom isn’t over large, bed frame has sharp corners and is bigger than the mattress, so care needed when moving around. Not pre-advised that both TVs use Amazon fire sticks only. What are Amazon fire sticks? Refuse collection is (very) early on Friday mornings!

Better and bigger than what the pics showed. Communication was easy and Rachael very helpful.

Self catering, but a welcoming pack including breakfast goodies supplied. A lovely touch.

Absolutely nothing!

Loved how clean it was and now welcoming it was. When we arrived we had a little hamper waiting for us which was such a nice surprise!

The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard, and very tastefully decorated. It is also light and airy, with clever use of a roof sunlight in kitchen and double aspect windows in sitting room.

Location was perfect. The property was immaculate. The host was great and left us to it. Everything worked. Lovely shaded patio.

Fabulous in every way. Modern furniture, very comfortable bed, luxury bathroom and exceptionally well equipped kitchen with Lavazza coffee machine. The welcome pack, with coffee pods, was a nice touch and greatly appreciated.
