Kounopetra Beach Luxury Villas

Great location. So handy for the beach and the local taverna. Although you’ll need a car to get there and nip out to the supermarket near lixouri, there’s little need to use it for anything else. We would set up base on the loungers in the garden each day and from there it’s just a few steps down the the beach. Toni was really welcoming and even took the kids off snorkelling to show them the best spots. The sea is great for swimming and paddle boarding. We are in the taverna next door every night. Good value and friendly staff.

Only minor criticism is the heat exchanger fans for the air-con face out on to the balcony which made it a bit uncomfortable to sit outside if the air-con was on inside (although we were there during a particularly hot period).

We were two families, spending a week at this magnificent place located right on the beach in a quiet bay one hour drive from the airport. While the house guarantees peace and privacy, it is a mere 3 minutes' walk from an excellent taverna and 10 minutes' drive from a well stocked supermarket. The appartment itself is spacious and furnished with everything you might need (even dishwasher and washing machine), two of the three bedrooms overlook the sea. The place is well-kept, the terrace perfect for sea-watching during meals (pictures can't do it justice), the lawn equipped with sunchairs and umbrellas, there is even some natural shade. The sandy beach was ideal for our three kids, as was the shallow water (for swimmimg, you just walk on for a couple of meters). This jewel is managed by the incredibly attentive host Toni, who really did all in his power to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Kounopetra Villas. The villa is located right next to a very quiet beach and enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views over the bay. Tony is a brilliant and charming host; he was there to meet us on arrival and showed us around the villa, and chatted about the area, its history etc. He really wanted to make sure that we were comfortable and was always contactable if we had any questions. He is a really friendly guy. The villa has everything you need for a family and is located in such a lovely, quiet area of Kefalonia. If you are considering staying at this villa, you will not be disappointed.

location. It is in a quiet place but easy to reach the lively Lixouri and Argostoli (by ferry). Large appartment with all the facilities. Exceptional sea views. The beach is very beautiful ang with few people what is difficult to find in August. Hosts very friendly.
