Roadside Cottage The Burren Kilfenora County Clare

Lots of room and so many extras in the house! Such an interesting stone house.

Seemed out of the way at times and we couldn’t find anywhere to walk except on the highways. Beds are getting old.

Perfect location to visit the Cliffs of Moher. At less than 30 minutes by car, you will be able to arrive before all buses. The Burren is also beautiful area with many viewpoints and artifacts/sites to visit. Friendly host (John) with good tips to make the most out of your visit.

Some noise from the road so it may be a consideration for light sleepers.

The location was excellent, right on the main road and within walking distance of two pubs but easy driving distance of the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher.

It was an lovely cottage in a small village. It is well equipped, comfortable, good parking and with very kind hosts. The Burren is a fascinating environment with the limestone rocks wearing into limestone pavements. Some Iinteresting walks. From Kilfenora you can drive to the coast both west and north and explore the local history. The Burren has interesting flowers and (it was early June) the cuckoos called each day.

We had trouble maintaining the Internet link at the cottage which was frustrating. Our host rebooted the link which had a good connection.

Fabulously spaced cottage!

The beds where very uncomfortable and so were the pillows.

Easy access to most of the attractions and the host provided more information about the place.

The mattress could be improved a bit.

Cozy, stand alone country style house. A bit old fashion, but charming. Everything needed for comfort stay is included - washing machine, dishwasher, etc and Netflix :-)
