Woodford Guest House in old farm

The guest house was lovely & homely & had everything you needed. It was also like having your own nature reserve in your back garden.

All was good.

The house was large enough to comfortably allow my family to spread out. Full kitchen to allow us to eat our meals at home.

Full size bed a bit uncomfortable (lumpy).

we liked the field at the back with the view and the donkeys . The beds were ok not uncomfortable but the bedding needs improving

The bathroom situation needs addressing asap . it’s a tiny en-suite , not even a standard sink . The whole property needs updating . The furniture breaks if you open a drawer . No sets of plates No sets of glasses all oddments or in twos and threes . cobwebs in the conservatory . The house was cold . The property is situated on a very narrow road and quite steep steps to get to the entrance door . Poor air b&b but people say you get what you pay for … we paid over £500 for 4 nights , is that good I don’t know but it’s just not a nice place to stay . sorry !

I loved the location, the scenery, the remoteness, the property was so quaint inside.

I didnt realise it was attached to the main house, but this was not a problem at all as it was very private itself.

Rustic accomodation in a quiet area. Nice mountain and garden views.

No lake view as described at time of booking. Grout in shower needed attention.
