The Lodge was amazing! everything has been well thought out & had everything you needed. I’ve been to Lyme Regis many times with my husband because it’s such a lovely place. This time I’ve come with my friend as we wanted to walk the coastal paths! Seatown-Golden Cap-Charmouth (stunning)also Seaton-Beer-Branscombe(unspoilt) well worth a visit. The Lodge has a lovely outdoor area, we had breakfast outside in the sun & enjoyed the sun in the comfy chairs in the afternoon. Fantastic location & amazing views!

Fantastic sea view. Short walk into Lyme Regis. Reading some other reviews I was worried about the uphill walk back - but it was fine (we're a reasonably active couple in our late 60's ) . Property though compact was well designed and had everything we needed - including most welcome milk, tea and biscuits on arrival. It was cosy and comfortable which was nice as the weather wasn't great - especially on our second full day. The well equipped little kitchen was perfect for our three night stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Arrival instructions and hob usage instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Short walking distance from the beach and a dedicated parking space. Breakfast cereal and milk was provided. Great board game selection. Very clean and comfy bed. Great view of the sea.

WiFi was pretty poor, but had great phone service so I could use my mobile data fine. Walk to the beach is down a quite steep hill, so coming back is quite the workout.

Long, steep hill to walk from town. But views wouldn't be as good without it.

Facilies

The distance to the town is quite manageable but we did not appreciate the steepness of the hill at the time of booking. Road noise was significant. The lodge became quite warm due to the sunshine through the large windows, opening the door helped, but then again there was the road noise. We found the bed too soft and quite small. Facilities were good, with quite a few extras that were appreciated.

A cosy, well-designed and very clean lodge with everything we needed for a short stay. Wonderful sea views in a quiet location. Great communication with the very helpful host. Highly recommended.
