Park House - Large 3 Bedroom Victorian House, 10 Mins from Manchester

Spacious, modern design, TV in every room

Lovely flat in nice neighborhood of Manchester! Easy drive to the city, and even a little park around the corner from walking or kids to play in. Plenty of space for the family to enjoy our stay here, including a well stocked kitchen and two bathrooms upstairs. The only issue is that there is not a bathroom on the main floor, and the stairs in the flat are exceptionally steep - some of the steepest we’ve ever come across - which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues, or anyone with small children, as there are no safety gates at the top of the stairs!

We loved the place, it exceeded our expectations, so much so that we extended for one night for one of the family members! If I ever go back to that area, I'd definitely book again and suggest to any of my friends.

Lots of space for a holiday let. Beds are very comfortable. Central heating and hot water working well (and the house was already at a nice temperature of 19°C when we arrived, so only needed to crank it up by 1°C). The dishwasher is a nice addition. Plenty of dining space. Baby items, cot (a bit hard though), and blankets provided. Good communication from the agency managing this place. No allocated parking space, but there were always a few available spots in the close vicinity, so not an issue at all.

Cleanliness could be improved. And this is the only real issue, otherwise, we would have given the maximum note to this property. We enjoyed the house overall, but we may not come back because of this issue. Carpets seemed clean, but were very dirty and dusty under the beds (we may not have noticed it, but when you have a 2 year old boy, he obviously wants to crawl under the bed). Also had to wash a few dishes and serving trays before using them. Baby highchair was very dirty.

We loved how spacious it was the kitchen was a nice size and so were the bedrooms. We were pleased that there was two bathrooms also.

Extremely comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and good location. Good sized house, rooms were a good size and the two bathrooms were good. Parking was fine and easy enough.

There was an automatic light outside the back of the house which kept switching on and off through the night and because the bedrooms had no curtains, just blinds, it disrupted sleep. Putting some curtains up would fix that issue! The neighbours also had a dog which barked incessantly - not sure you can do much about that but it was tricky to deal with. The noise seemed to be coming from the neighbour who's property is for sale, so hopefully that will solve that problem or it was maybe a temporary issue!
