The Nook, Morebattle

Great location. Nice cottage. Fantasticslly friendly village.

Easy convenient parking right outside front door (we had a van and it was no problem at all). Spacious entrance hall. Huge fully equipped kitchen/diner, with table that will easily sit 6. (and an absolutely FANTASTIC electric double oven/range..!! Very comfortable and cosy well appointed lounge. Ground floor shower/wet room with WC. 2 very spacious 1st floor double bedrooms (1 with extra single bed). Also 1st floor bathroom/WC. Efficient storage heating throughout. Free (high speed) WiFi right through the cottage. Back garden (with side entrance) which includes a lawn big enough to have a game of '5 aside' on....!! We say 'cottage' but the first thing that strikes you when you enter The Nook, is how big the place is. Loads of space everywhere. Welcome bottle of wine, and milk in fridge. Corner shop 10 seconds walk away from front door, and local pub 2 minutes walk down the road... Perfect...!! Beautiful quiet peaceful village making a superb base for walking or cycling and exploring further afield in The Scottish Borders. I used my bike most days during our 9 day stay, and it was superb, but be warned....; In this area, you are either climbing or descending.. There is NO flat terrain... Typical Scottish Borders..!! Lawrence, the host could not have been more helpful and very quickly responds to any queries. Overall, superb property which we must recommend. (and very reasonably priced) We will definitely try and return if dates fit. Thank you Lawrence... Top Job......!!!

There was nothing we did not like at this splendid cottage in the lovely peaceful village of Morebattle..

The house was great - roomy for 4 people. The location was brilliant - the village is very friendly. The host was very prompt to answer our questions . Thank you.
