Lovely house in a beautiful setting. Self catering and quiet surroundings. Lot of space for family stay. Co-op supermarket nearby for all essentials which is open till 10pm. Good place to explore Cairngorms national park. Between 1-2 hours drive to Loch Ness and Ben Nevis.

We had a lovely time at Netherwood. We were two families with young kids. It's a great location to explore around Aviemore and beyond. It was very comfortable and had good amenities. Overall, we'd definitely recommend using Netherwood as a base for a large group.

The house was generally tidy but it could do with a deeper clean at some point. There were quite a few cobwebs around windows, dust on furniture, etc. there were also dirty towels left in the washing machine when we arrived. Some pieces of furniture need replaced like the baby cot and high chair. We felt this should be better considering the price of the property.

Large roomy house for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. Liked aga and open fire. In good location nice wee town. Have to mention visit Wild Cat Experience and buy their experience of searching for all the different cats placed around town great fun for all.

House is in need of a declutter in kitchen so many dishes. It is a great house but could be even better with a little more attention to detail. I am giving constructive criticism and can assure you we had a lovely time and would return we have made good memories from our stay.

Lovely cosy property set in a beautiful location close to the village, the Munros for walking and Aviemore for all its activities. Sitting by the fire after a day hiking up Ben Macdui was special.

Kitchen was lovely with Aga but would have been nice to have some basics to get started on in kitchen like oil/ herbs so it’s easier to shop and cook for such a short stay.

The house has so much space and bedroom options for large groups and families lots of flexibility. Lots of hot water and towels provided. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you may need. The village has some very good dining options notably the Indian takeaway and The Letterbox. We really enjoyed the folk museum and nearby animal wildlife park

The Aga while wonderful can make the house quite warm which in winter is a real positive but we chanced upon 20 degree weather in early May so a little too hot for comfort

Lovely spacious property. We were a group of 3 families consisting of 5 adults and 5 children. Plenty of space for us all to spend time together, and also have some privacy. Perfectly clean. Best equipped holiday accommodation we’ve ever had, literally everything we needed was provided. Weather was a bit chilly, but the accommodation was well heated, which was lovely after being out for the day. Beautiful location, we all enjoyed seeing a deer walk by on two occasions. We visited Landmark, The Highland Wildlife Centre, Aviemore and the Highland Folk Museum. All were very convenient to get to from the house. Brilliant value for money. We would recommend to others and will return again ourselves.

The log fire, the Aga and the good heating, ideal for a cold December. It is very comfortable and has a great ambience with good lighting to match. All the facilities you would need.

On arrival, in the dark, we missed the entrance, which goes back on itself. It was very tricky reversing back on an icy road, and then we couldn't get the car up the steep icy driveway.
