"Lovely home away from home"

Such a lovely getaway for my 60th birthday with my adult children and our dogs. Much attention was paid to all the little details to make our trip special and the location was great. The garden is wonderful. We had wonderful meals a short walk away at the Kings Arms and the hotel restaurant where the food from the Sunday menu was amazing!

"A fabulous find a perfect property in a great location"

This property was perfect for our family of 8. A great location to explore the rest of the Cotswolds & 2 lovely pubs with great food within a very short walking distance. The host was contactable we had a problem with the hot water but it was sorted out with a phone call in minutes. Definitely recommend this property.

Just wish the double beds were king or king size but that’s personal preference & what we are all used to sleeping in.

"Superb"

The double beds were very comfortable and all the bathrooms were nice and clean. The communal areas were very nice and well equipped. The kitchen was very well equipped. The garden and outdoor space was lovely. The village of Mickleton was a lovely place to be with 2 pubs, a hotel, a general store and a wonderful butcher's shop all within a couple of minutes walk of the property and lots of great walks in the local area.

Being picky.... The twin beds were not uncomfortable but could do with being a bit more substantial for adults. The dining room lights were too bright for convivial eating in the evening so we had to improvise ambient lighting with table lamps from other rooms. No downstairs toilet (other than in the downstairs ensuite) Towels were nice but could do with being a bit bigger. No tea-towels provided but I think that they may just have been forgotten given how well the kitchen was equipped otherwise.

A fan was provided in every bedroom which was very much appreciated. The garden was lovely for a very hot week with plenty of shady areas to sit and relax. Property within 2mins walk of a small supermarket.

Ensuite downstairs was a little cramped with nowhere to hang clothes etc. Not enough coasters throughout for drinks. Dirty barbecue
