Beck House Cottages

Quiet rural location. Good instructions on how to get there and enter the property. Spacious, well equipped, comfortable sofas, nice bedding, towels. Added bonus was the log burner, enough stuff for the 2 nights we were there. Great to have a bathroom each too.

The mattresses could have been more comfortable for our liking, but everyone is different.

It was good to be able to get all of our family in a close proximity in these cottages, and it was very cosy:) Loved to see the animals

Location and freedom on the land to walk the dog without risking very busy and small roads.

Needs a small amount of repairs but nothing wrong.

Mooie omgeving, landelijk, rustig en toch vrij dichtbij Pickering waar oa een grote Lidl zit. Het hoofdterrein is echt mooi, gebouwen in een u vorm, sfeervolle bouwstijl. En achter was een enorm stuk grond , een beekje, paarden. Meg, de hond, super lief en knuffelig. Onze cottage had een open slaapzolder waar je met zn 4-en kon slapen. Fijne ruimte.

Wij zaten in cottage Daisy. Dit ligt niet op het hoofdterrein maar ernaast. Niks mee mee, maar ik had dit uitgekozen omdat er overal dieren waren. Ik had dus een voorstelling dat die bij je huisje liepen. Het was niet overal even schoon helaas en de woonkamer zelf vond ik niet zo gezellig. Maar echt wel prima. Wat ik miste boven op zolder is een hor voor het dakraam. Maar dat is mssn niet Engels want ik miste die eigenlijk overal. De keuken zag er goed uit en de basis spullen lagen er.

Lack of welcome pack was unusual A teabag and a drop of milk at least would have been welcome .Lighting heeded to be brighter .Cutlery and crockery all a bit random and below home standards. No breadboard .

Good location and size of property. Good they have an onsite EV car charger. Despite multiple cottages you couldn’t hear the neighbours and all felt private.

Unfortunately it wasn’t possible to contact the owners despite multiple attempts via text message, phone or through the booking.com messaging app. Upon arrival one of the rooms had not been properly made up (missing pillow cases and towels). We just had to make do although this could have been rectified had the owners been available. There were lots of cobwebs as well and the sofa was incredibly uncomfortable.

In a lovely location and all the rooms we have stayed in are very clean and cozy

Very well-equipped country-style cottages in a lovely country setting. Peacocks, Geese and Chickens all around. reaaly enjoyed our brief 2 night stay.
