Beck House Cottages

Andrew, the owner was really welcoming. The grounds were lovely. The property was spacious, clean and cosy. It was perfect for our weekend break.

To make it even cosier, a fluffy blanket in the living area or on the bed would have just added an extra something special.

On the whole we were very disappointed .The three SMALL ??? beds ( were expecting 2 x Doubles) were only fit for children and extremely uncomfortable. Not good for a man of 6foot 2 inches !!! What was that all about ??? Linen also not up to standard. As we were visiting the area with two friends, one of whom was just getting over Chemotherapy, we felt this cottage was not as we had been led to expect. Also no hot water on the first day. And no welcome from the owners. But he did fix the hot water problem but did not call to ask if we were ok ???

The cottage was lovely and cosy. In a very quiet area in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. They have lovely animals on site.

Very cosy cottage in quiet location. Lovely facilities, had everything we needed. Loved how the peacocks visited our garden. Easy drive to Pickering and Flamingo Land.
