Great location for stopover. Fabulous communication from Helen. Clean and comfortable stay with everything required provided. So much nicer than a hotel. Helen even provided me GF and dairy free provisions- a great host .

cottage looked ok, coffee with the essentials were provided, only used for a coffee in the morning other items were provided but not used.

cottage looked fine and for all the time we were there it was adequate. The beds however are badly needing new mattresses, they are very worn and sagging, not comfortable. The attic room needs a blind to stop the sun hitting you in the morning. the ground floor room had a lot of spiders, During the night Ian was positive he felt something crawl over him, when we stripped the bed in the morning there were spiders inside the duvet. we were playing golf at Gleneagles and on the Monday evening we tried to get a taxi from the cottage to have dinner and a few drinks, there are no taxis in the area, I had to drive. very remote village with no other bars or restaurants we could find, road works had started on the main carriageway this meant coming back from Gleneagles what should have been a 5 min drive turned into a 1 hour detour, I think we should have been notified of this.

Location and cottage were absolutely lovely. Very well equipped, quiet and homely. We loved it.

It wasn't particularly a problem for us, but some may find the ladder up to the second bedroom a bit difficult.
