Location was lovely . Blackford is a quaint village

Uncomfortable beds and poor storage heaters. Luckily they provide electric fan heaters

The property was so quiet, exactly what we were after. It was clean, comfortable, and toasty. There were plenty of blankets and dressing gowns we could use which were very comfy and the host kindly left amenities we could use such as bathroom and kitchen essentials. The bread, milk, coffee, and biscuits were particularly nice so we could relax on arrival instead of heading straight to the shops for our basics. The host was also lovely and helpful. If you’re a whisky fan the location is a short walk away from Tullibardine distillery.

Nothing, it had everything we needed for our relaxing trip away.

Having the TV channels as just having bbc iplayer and Netflix isn't good

Beautifully and considerately designed and furnished. The host provided excellent instructions in advance of the visit and recommended a lovely Italian restaurant for the night of our arrival. She also generously provided not just condiments but also toiletries, books, tourist info, bread, shortbread, crisps and butter.

My friend and I have a few mobility challenges so the sofa was a smidge low for us to easily get off. The loo roll kept leaping off the loo roll holder for my friend.

The bed was really comfortable

The cobwebs which were everywhere and the stale dog smell. Also I’m glad we weren’t too bothered about the tv as there was no channels available on it

Only thing was the ladder to the upstairs bedroom- felt a bit wobbly

Everything, comfortable well presented and great location. Only stopped one night whilst on- route to Ullapool but would definitely like to stay again but for longer. Helen answers all messages really quickly.

Only dislike was no barrier around the loft hatch.
