St Margaret's Cottage, Edinburgh

The cottage is super cute, nicely decorated, and has everything one might need. We really appreciated the binder of information and read it thoroughly. The neighborhood is lovely and after a week's stay, it felt like we were locals. The bus stop, a grocery store, and take-out are all within super easy walking distance. Fiona and Steve are delightful hosts and their two dogs are very sweet and friendly. The goodies left for us in the kitchen were a very kind and wonderful touch. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend this property.

The shower basin is very shallow--thankfully we were warned about it in advance. However, this is a minor quibble and it encouraged us to be very efficient so we had more time to explore and experience Scotland.

Voor ons drieën zeer geschikt. Afstand naar Old Town wel groot, maar door de goede busverbinding geen probleem

Wij hadden een vraag over de niet-werkende melkopschuimer. Daar hebben wij geen antwoord op gekregen. Op een andere, eenvoudige vraag wel. Wij weten niet waar de beheerster/eigenares woont, maar indien nabij, zouden wij een kennismaking op prijs gesteld hebben. Nu was de communicatie alleen per email. Ook schoonmaakdoekjes in de keuken etc. waren niet aanwezig.

Il cottage è molto carino, con un bel giardinetto, e due camere al piano di sopra con un bagnetto. La signora molto gentile, ci aveva anche lasciato delle cose per la colazione. Soprattutto alla nostra richiesta di avere delle pentole anti aderenti non rischiate essendo quelle graffiate molto nocive, la mattina stessa ce ne la portate di nuove. Non è vicina al centro ma c'è una comoda fermata sulla strada principale, anche se è una strada trafficata cmq non si sente il rumore delle macchine

Lovely accomodation close to local shops. Easy access to bus route to get into edinburgh city.
