Dora's Country Cottage

The room was very pleasant, and the location was simultaneously rustic and close to dining. We’d totally stay here again

We had to call the hosts, because we didn’t get access info from booking.com. However the host answered on our first call, and he talked through access

I liked that I could see the cattle right outside our window. Owner was pleasant.

The property is advertised as a bungalow. It is not. It is an attachment to the house. Also, the bed was comfortable but it was 3 and a half feet high. Step stools were provided but if one is the least bit physically challenged it would be very difficult.

This cottage was quaint and totally comfortable. We went with the king bed which included a complete kitchen. The place felt like home. My wife and I actually fell in love with this place. As a bonus, the owner has a couple of bills on the property that where full of personality. Over the last three weeks, we have stayed at lots of hotels and apartments and this was our favorite overnighter:-).

I was off grid part of the day so I didn't find the email instructions for the key at once so I was a little confused when I arrived at the property. Nothing really to complain about though. I called the owner and got the information at once.

Location was great and host provided information about hikes, places to see and local restaurant menus. The refrigerator and microwave were enough for us to manage most meals in the room given being on a tight budget. .

Heard the nieghbors in the other part of the house one evening as the rental is a split house. Otherwise it was quiet and pleasant.

Felt like the comfort of home

Heat wasn't working in the kitchen. The owner didn't know and said she'd correct it.
