Fabulous house. Spotless. Plenty space. Well equipped

Nothing at all

The layout of the house, the open plan nature of it. The kitchen had all the pans and utensils and other facilities you'd need. It was very clean, in a nice and quiet spot. It was the 4th time we've stayed there, so we knew what to expect.

Very well appointed. Really spacious, bright and airy. Two bathrooms with one room en suite was fantastic. A very easy 5 minute drive just outside Stornoway meant it was really quiet. Highly recommend.

A little tricky to find (house numbers don't always run in sequence). Although to be fair that was mainly because we approached from a different direction to the directions that Kevin had helpfully provided. This is a very very minor point!

Spacious and very well finished. Very well equipped. Use of EV charger included in rental price. Nice welcome pack including milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps, wine and chocolates.

Overall proper was fantastic. A couple of small additions would make it ever better. A shelf for toiletries next to sinks in bathrooms, a doormat at patio doors and a stool in hallway to sit in when put on walking boots would be useful.

The property exceeded expectations. Immaculately clean, very well presented & absolutely everything you need & more. The welcome pack & milk in the fridge on arrival was greatly appreciated. The bedrooms were spacious & the beds were extremely comfortable. The views are amazing even when it rains (!), almost 360 degrees & as you located only 2.5 miles from Stornoway, it’s only a short journey on arrival & you can see the sea! 6 stars if it were possible. Thank you Kevin for great communication too, before, during & after our stay.

There is no enclosed garden, if you have a pet, but that is easily managed as the property has absolutely everything else.

Lovely house on the outskirts of Stornoway, good to get into the city or for sightseeing further away. Comfortable rooms and well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room for our dog to stay and large mostly fenced garden to keep him in. Excellent availability of electric car charger on the property.

Would have been extra useful if we could have blocked the gate in some way to let the dog out into the garden without close supervision.

The back bedroom window blinds aren't brilliant. They let light in in the morning.

Garden not blocked off with fence/gates. Had small dog with us so just kept her on lead.
