Cozy Lodge in Värmland Sweden

The location is absolutely stunning! The area is everything you can imagine Sweden to be like, pine forests, lakes, nature and few tourists only. Ingrid the owner shared some ideas of where to hike and they truly were spot on. The small cabin is very cute and perfect for 2 or a family. I personally would find it too small for 4 adults. We did our grocery shopping in Filipstad, and as we flew in from France we couldn’t carry basic stuff like olive oil, salt, coffee so we had to buy small quantities of each. If you’re traveling with your own car it’s a bit easier. One roll of toilet paper is provided, coffee for the first day and some tea bags are provided as well. Bed linens and towels are all provided. The cabin is cozy like the name says! And there are not too many on the property which is nice. For every cabin you have a parking spot easy to unload and load the car. They also rent canoes and kayaks payment is in cash only so we didn’t do it in the end. We loved the location and Ingrid’s friendliness upon arrival. We didn’t need her help during the stay but we had her phone number in case we needed help.

Lovely location in the middle of the forest. Everything there what one needs! First time for us with our dog luxurious camping! Owner very friendly and helpful, good advice on what to do in the neighborhood!
