"Beautiful little house, unbearable noise when there is a village party"

A very cute little house, nicely furnished, comfortable, right on the central square of Vila Alva

Unbearable noise during both nights, there was a village party tent at about 1 meter from this property, with DJ disco party starting at midnight until the early morning hours. This was so loud that the doors were literally shaking, we moved the mattress in the kitchen at the back of the house and put earplugs, yet this did not really help. We measured 80 db in the back (!) of the house. We had called the hosts two days before checkin and they did not mention this party. As much as we like this village and its dynamic, this was not a good experience
