The house itself was lovely as we're the grounds.Enjoyed the gardens and layereddecks.

We found the owner to be extremely intrusive.Everytime you went outside he would be lurking around just over the fence.There are cameras all around the property.Thisp🤣♍🩶♍♍ is very intrusive for a house full of woman.My 18yr old daughter arrived drunk at two in the morning,unexpectantly and with a friend.The girls were neither noisey or disrespectful,in fact I'm not even sure how he knew girls were even there.I guess he must have been watching the cameras.

Was so cool to sit in the spa area and even though in town felt so private. Loved the outdoor table area and amazing spot for breakfast while you Start the day. Absolutely loved that I could have my furbaby and he was safe to roam as there was good fencing.

We loved our stay at Durie Vale Retreat! The hosts greeted us upon arrival and were friendly as always! We got shown the new addition to the house, which was the amazing spa pool/deck area and WOW it looks amazing!! We LOVED relaxing on the outdoor seating listening to the tui birds sing! It was so peaceful. We also enjoyed the spa each night, under the stars!! The house is perfect, from milk in the fridge, to spreads and a selection of tea and coffee. Great cooking facilities and very comfortable beds! We liked the touch of robes and large spa towel in the bedroom wardrobes, these were great! Of course, being pet friendly and having a fenced section where our dog is safe and secure is brilliant! - We had such a lovely stay, and will be back again! This accommodation is a home away from home, and we love every moment of it! - Thank you!!
