Seaview Serenity- Whitianga Holiday Home

A real 'wow' property with the most beautiful views over Whitianga Bay. Fantastic for two families (which we were effectively with our son and his family) given it was split into two apartments with the main one having enough entertainment space for everyone and a huge balcony. Really nicely appointed and furnished with good bathrooms/en suites and everything you might need in the kitchen. Had a bit of a fight over rooms they were so nice! Great range of toys and stuff in case you needed it.

Drive was very steep and challenging turning unless coming up the hill from the Bay. There was a very slight damp smell in the lower apartment, but that might just have been airing. Only very minor, overall a great place to rent for a large or extended family.

Beautiful expansive sea views in accommodation that immediately makes you feel that you are on holiday. Loved the fact that the whole whanau was able to stay together. There is plenty of space, with wonderful indoor-outdoor flow. There is a lovely beach just a short walk away from the accommodation and it is just a short drive to town.

On the downside and these are really minor things - the downstairs area smelled damp. We paid for bed linen, but there were two pillowcases short. A light in the downstairs bathroom kept tripping all the lights in the downstairs area which we drew to the attention of the property manager on departure.
