"Guests with pets"

Host was very sweet and accommodating and helpful. Beautiful Garden and a lovely fire place. You can take your pets, my puppy and birds had a great time.

It would be nice if there was a washing machine and tumble dryer. This place is only for a short stay, not advisable for guests to book for a long stay.

"Family home"

Nestled in the heart of Cathkin peak. This beautiful accommodation felt like home away from home. It is surrounded by nature with many bird species. Huge garden and ample parking space. There is a mountain view but not the cathkin peak. You will have to walk out of the area to view the peak. But that is no train smash. This accommodation has everything you need. Books, board games, braai area, fireplace, and a well equipped kitchen. We got see deers, baboons and zebras from our accommodation. We also got to hike blue grotto, which you will have to register at drakensberg Sun Resorts, which is down the road from the accommodation. Every bed is heated with a temperature switch. There are 2 bathrooms + toilets , the first bathroom is a tub with a hand shower, and the second is a normal shower. Multiples plug points and switches. There were entrances and exits in almost every living area with a lock and key.

No washing machine included in this package if you desire to stay for longer periods. Other than the narrow driveway, which was communicated to me by the owner before arrival. There were no other issues with this accommodation.

Beautiful setting, lovely “country feel” to the house, well equipped

The shower in the main bathroom could be a bit challenging - not great water pressure and went from cold to boiling hot very quickly. That was the only thing.
