The Parlour - The Cottages at Blackadon Farm

Such a beautiful location and property, attentive hosts, all the facilities you could need and all ground floor which was perfect for our needs. Nice and quiet location too. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

It really was perfect for what we wanted - no negatives or room for improvement!

The property is stunning and we absolutely loved staying there. The owners were lovely- as were the animals! The cottage was beautifully decorated and perfect for what we needed.

Excellent communication and really friendly & helpful hosts. This is one of the best accommodation I have booked on this site, lovely location close to beautiful beaches & a great wine tasting at Swanaford vineyard. Accommodation was so clean *The Parlour* decorated to a high spec & a welcome basket for our dog! Hosts spent lots of time with us chatting, helping with places to visit/ eat, showed us other cottages on site & took us all along to feed their goats & donkeys! I would highly recommend booking here we will definitely be back, thank you

Very cute cottage in beautiful farm, Marcus was very welcoming and helpful and we had a wonderful stay there!

We stayed in the 'Parlour', spacious and clean, comfy beds. We had lovely weather so all the better for going out and about. Walks and scenery equally lovely. Close to all the beaches and places of interest to visit. Good facilities.

The only thing we didn't like was that after a long trip we expected there would be at least tea, coffee and milk, available etc as we have always found in the many other stays we have had stayed over the years (Tea, Coffee, Milk sachets and biscuits) but there was nothing. So the last thing you want after a long drive is to have to go out and search for a shop or supermarket when you don't know the area. I think the owners should mention that there is nothing provided, so as to prepare future guests to take their own. When chatting to one of the other guests they also expressed disappointment that after a very long trip that there was no complimentary basics or a welcome pack. Apart from that everything was lovely.

Clean, spacious, comfortable. Everything you needed plus the hosts were very accommodating. Anything extra you needed, they would be happy to help. Location was in a small village, close to the main A38, so easy access to explore. We even got to meet the on site miniature donkeys, which were very cute!

Not much we didn't like, we would probably stay again but we've explored the area to the full.

Hosts are great communicators & very friendly, location was fantastic for what we needed, everything was clean and it’s perfect for young families. We stayed in The Parlour and being all ground floor it was brilliant for our young children.
