peaceful place

The quietness and the view are exceptional! We came early January and the fireplace was just perfect..

From Aegina Town, it is about 20 minutes by car to where you turn right, to enter the 1.5 km long road, where the location is located at the end of it. The road is so narrow that it can fit a car. On the right side, as you go up, there are rocks, some of them protrude quite a bit into the space of the road and thorny vegetation, and on the left side there is thorny vegetation and the ravine of the hill, which is quite deep. Location: I found the house key in a box with a code (the code being sent by the owner through a message, sent through the Booking platform). It is an old stone house, with a suffocating smell and very dark. In the kitchen, the sink battery leaks (the owner was notified by phone, but did not solve the problem). In the bedroom, there is an old stone fireplace that is not cleaned (I suspect that it is used by someone in the winter) and it smells throughout the bedroom, a smell superimposed on the smell of an old house. Also, small lizards come to visit the bedroom walls at night, making noise. In the bathroom, the construction of the shower being with a kind of paint that covers the stone of the house, it slides very easily during the shower. I found, on two different days, two large cockroaches in the bathroom door. I also mention the fact that absolutely everything was self-service (garbage disposal, there are bins at the end of the road, the 1.5 km), by us, the linen was not changed at all, we had a stay of 14 days-the owner sent a message, also through Booking 4 days before our departure, i.e. after 10 days, if we want the linen to be changed. The parking lot next to the house is a small place where when you turn the car you have to be very careful (in front there are rocks, behind is the ravine of the hill on which the house is located. The house is surrounded by old houses that are ruins.

We really enjoyed our staying and the communication with the hosts was great. The house is beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you might need, and the view is simple magical.

However, the location turned-out to be not ideal for us.. a bit far from the beaches and the road for the last 1-1,5 km is not good (at least for someone who gets afraid like me..). Not pleasant to drive there during night time. Overall though we enjoyed our staying!! Thank you so much :)

For that price level they should pay attention to the mattresses which need replacement. Springs protrude. Wifi could be placed in a central spot to provide better coverage

We liked everything. Probably a bit too far from main city but this is the charm of Peaceful place. No noise, just silence of your own. Very wellcoming!
