"Fantastic trip for a larger group (wedding at Drumtochty)"

We loved our stay (group of 7) and was perfect for all our needs. We were attending a wedding close by. The house is meters away from a village shop and a lovely cafe. Amanda (the host) couldn’t be more helpful - including when we got delayed on our way to the house and had car trouble. Amanda managed to get us help and back on the road - she really went above and beyond. The house was modern, clean and had so many lovely touches. Plenty of space for a large group and we’re just sorry that the Scottish weather meant that we could not appreciate the garden to its full use. We loved all the board games and the kitchen staples were very handy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

"Superb"

Auchenblae is a lovely little village in a little crannie of Scotland near Montrose that is not so well travelled by visitors just off the main road from Dundee to Aberdeen, well worth the effort to stop by, a few miles via Drumtochty from the southern end of the Cairn o' Mount road, a fine drive over to Banchory/Ballater and Deeside. The property is beautifully updated, with full modern kitchen, 4 bedrooms and a cinema room. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

The house was decorated to a high standard. Everything we needed was available. There were lots of extras like welcome gifts, snacks, milk, etc.

Happy with everything. Would love to come back and highly recommended.

"Excellent accommodation close to Drumtochty castle"

Location was excellent. Attending a wedding at Drumtochty Castle. Highly recommend this property for any guests. The bus leaving at end of night dropped us off so a cab not required, but if cab required pre book. Host provided telephone numbers.

"House is comfortable clean, very spacious deceiving from the outside"

We took our own breakfast however, the host did leave us a nice surprise of tea coffee sugar milk cereal also, crisps, biscuits, crackers and cheese with grapes. Bonus being only 6 minutes from Drumtochty Castle where we attended my sister's wedding xxx
