Lazy Days Cottage

The cottage was comfortable and airy. Everything was well organised in the kitchen. The beds were soft and comfortable. A lot of attention to detail had been given to the choice of furniture. No expense was spared. The garden was beautiful with mature plants and trees. There are also plenty of places to sit.

I wouldn't book this place again because I intended to relax but couldn't because a housing estate is currently being built next door. I'm disappointed that this was not mentioned by the owner at the time of the booking as I would have booked somewhere else.

Very well presented property with large garden and all mod cons. This amazing property is spacious and filled with interesting art and very well chosen furniture that makes it a pleasure to spend time in. Last minute booking for us and exceeded our expectations. Everything you could need is provided whether you want to chill with a book or blob in front of the TV, cook a gourmet delight or order a takeaway (Taste of India very good). A true home from home which the owners are obviously and rightly proud of.

The cottage was moderately clean but would benefit from a deep clean. The hot tub was hot, clean, and easily accessible. (Would benefit from a large parasol over it tho) The cottage had the basics. It was nice and quiet as we arrived late Friday afternoon so all workmen had gone home. The kitchen is big with good facilities. The heating is very good, and u only need it on for a few minutes. We only used the big bedroom and the bed was comfy with adequate bedding etc.

The photos do not show a true representation of this cottage. It has very outdated furniture and decor. It is overlooked by a building site that is an arm's length away, so not secluded as advertised. The gardens are moderately kept with a square proportion to the rear, just being overgrown. The BBQ was very small and was left on the side for grass to overgrow on it. The shower is tiny and makes it very difficult to wash but it was nice and hot.

it was absolutely lovely! The hot tub and garden was so beautiful, the lights were a lovely touch. I am in love with the decoration throughout the house. We are booking again for the beginning of august, we will a 1000% be back.

the shower is a bit of a squeeze ( for reference I’m a chunky girl so.. ) the water pressure absolutely perfect. not a complaint There is a cute little cat next door that comes and says hello to you so if you have any allergies just be aware of that😀

Lovely place. Peaceful, relaxing and full of character. Hot tub is great. Excellent host. Will definitely be returning.
