The place is very comfortable with lots of space and literally has everything you can think of. From a washing machine to a soda maker. It's also great that there are bikes for use (check if the tires have enough air). The house is decorated with lots of professional photos of people, places and events. And we had a visit of a deer mum and kid. We had a great stay!

Comfortabel huis!

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus über zwei Etagen u.a. mit Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, TV, Stereoanlage, 2. Toilette. Auch in der Küche findet sich (fast) alles was der Koch / die Köchin begehrt: Herd, Backofen, Heißluftfritteuse, Mikrowelle, Toaster, viel Geschirr. Wunderbar große Terrasse mit zwei Tischen und ausreichend Sitzmöbeln. Als tolles Extra gibt es zwei gut gepflegte, kostenlos nutzbare Fahrräder. Man merkt, die Gastgeber möchten, dass sich ihre Gäste wohlfühlen.

Unser Geschmack ist bei der Einrichtung eher nüchtern und übersichtlich. Wir brauchen weniger Dekoratives.

Das Haus ist schön gelegen. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön, um dort entspannte Abende zu verbringen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Magnus begrüßt.

Für unser Empfinden hätte es etwas sauberer sein können.

Ett fint boende med allt som kan önskas. En trevlig värd som kom och tog emot oss. Kommer att bo där fler gånger om man kommer neröver.

This is one of the best places in Sweden. The accommodation is very comfortable and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of amenities. The landlord is very friendly and helpful. There are restaurants and shops in the village Bengtsfors. Beautiful excursion destinations are nearby and easily accessible. The landlord also provides bicycles free of charge. A canal cruise on the Dalslands Canal, a trip to the Tresticklan National Park, or a visit to the Elk Park "Dalslands Moose Ranch" in Ed are particularly recommended. We have been here for the second time and will definitely come back.

Everything was fine

This is a nice old house with a big garden, surrounded by grass and trees. It is completely for you (except the basement), the owner lives a block away. The most beautiful part is the huge veranda with several seating areas. In the house everything you need is there (and a lot more..) and is very clean. The double boxspring-bed was brandnew when we were there in May 2024 and is very comfortable. Magnus is a good host, friendly and communicative.

Had everything we could’ve ever needed (and more), even with a 5 month old baby with us. The host provided a cot for the baby and even a feeding chair, plus we had a washing machine to wash some of the baby’s clothes to make sure we have enough for the rest of our trip. Was nice to watch Netflix on the TV (instead of random channels that never have anything watchable you’d get in most hotels). We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was well equipped and we easily could’ve cooked anything we wanted. Everything was clean and nice, the host was very accomodating (the only issue we did have was that it was a bit chilly for the baby at first - but this got sorted immediately after bringing it up with no fuss). Bit of a weird time of year to be travelling there, plus we managed to pick the days that were rainy, but during Summer I’m sure the terrace would’ve been really nice to sit on. And if you like photography, there are great photographs to look at on the walls and in the albums - also some cool cameras on display. Absolutely great place to stay at
