Penrhyn Cottage

Location was excellent and facilities inside the cottage were great.

Excellent location in unspoilt village. Stunning views from lounge. Close to cliff top walks and beach. Quiet village. Clean, dog friendly accommodation.

Paint peeling off units in en-suite bathroom/utility room due to poor ventilation/extraction fan not working. Minor issue easily sorted. Otherwise all good.

Lovely cottage just metres from the Anglesey coastal path with sea views.. We stayed as 3 adults with a baby and a dog. The cottage is very well equipped with lots of lovely touches. Washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer, good cooker and microwave etc. ,It's only a short walk down the hill to the beach. There's a small garden with seating and bbq. Highly recommended.

The only very slight quibble was that we all found the old fashioned sofa and chairs in the living room rather uncomfortable. Wouldn't stop us going back but a bit of a shame.

Bins and recycling were full! Vacuum cleaner was blocked.

The location was great and the cottage was cosy and as described. The neighbours were lovely and welcoming.

The lack of bins for household waste and recycling. We arrived to overflowing waste on the doorstep and lots of flies and a terrible smell. This was not an ideal start and we ended up taking some of the waste to a local bottle bank and a kind neighbour let us fill her bin too. I took several pictures as the bin was directly outside the bedroom and the window was left open- so flies had entered the property. The neighbour who let us use her bin also had to chase flying plastic waste off the street from the overflowing bins- so in such an idyllic spot, we felt this really was not an ideal situation and I was embarrassed to see it all literally on the front doorstep.

Self catering property- brought our own breakfast.

Liked the property but due to our car being written off by a careless driver within 2 days of arriving we were unable to explore the island. It took 2 days of non stop phone calls to insurance company and car hire availability. The pub nor inn were catering for diners either.

The sea view and so warm and cosy

The sofa upstairs is a little uncomfortable.
