View Cottage

This was a semi last minute booking after a previous reservation fell through due to unforeseen circumstances. We really lucked out with our stay at View Cottage. The setting is beautiful and offered an idyllic getaway that was still very close to the center of town. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this gem!

Excellent condition and location. Beautiful views of the city. Loved being able to eat outside when the weather permitted.

It was a little difficult to get our buggy up and down the stairs on the way to the cottage, but it wasn't unmanageable.

Lovely view and close to the train station.

The cottage was perfect for my family and I. We really appreciated the fact that everybody got their own space (individual bedroom+ bathroom).

The cottage itself was very cute and beautiful and view from the cottage to the castle was absolutely amazing. The cottage was as was depicted in the photos. The interaction was very clear with the owner. Everyone loved staying at the place. One of the best stays.

The kitchen hob was troubling a bit, but managed somehow

Brilliant stay being before and it’s just as great as it was , fantastic 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms so everyone got a bed ! Fabulous living room space !

Pillows were thin

Instructions claires pour récupérer les clés. Jolie maison située à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville qui est accessible via un escalier un peu raide (je le précise pour les personnes ayant des difficultés à monter/descendre les marches). La maison dispose de 3 chambres avec salles de bain privatives ce qui est un réel plus. Une des chambres est en rez-de-chaussée. Chambres très confortables. Nous avons adoré la jolie vue sur le château d'Inverness. Nous avons également apprécié le permis de stationnement, très pratique. Nous n'avons eu aucune difficulté à nous garer.

Ce qui nous a un peu gêné est l'absence de vrai espace pour manger. Il y a une table console pour 4 personnes mais une fois dépliée, il est difficile de circuler. Un second banc dans l'espace extérieur aurait été le bienvenu. Un peu juste au niveau des couverts également.
