Villa Marysol sleeps 6

Location was OK

1. On arrival (22.04) the pool was in a disgusting state. See pictures. We messaged the owner, who offered to get the pool cleaned. I chased on 24.04 and 25.04 - no reply. I chased again on 27.04. On 28.04 (without knocking) someone looked at the pool but whilst some improvement it was not fit to enter the pool. The owner made no further attempts to fix the problem and the pool remained unusable for the 9d of our stay. The owner clearly knew before we arrived that the pool was in an unfit state as the person who handed us the keys said there was an issue. 2. I asked for a discount. The owner offered 15% and I suggested 30% given we only booked the villa as it had a pool. He then offered 20% which I again declined. 3. I then noticed damp/mould in virtually every room, and on the walls in the garden. See pictures. I also explained that the garden was badly overgrown. A gardener, unannounced, tidied the garden the last day of our stay. 4. The owner failed to reply after I sent pictures of the mould. I even tried to ring him but he didn't have the courtesy to reply. This lack of engagement is consistent with comments from other guests. 5. Further issues related to extremely old and dirty duvets in one room, and only sheets in the other two. The evenings were cold and sheets were not enough. 6. Nothing in the property was as per the website - no bedding or quilts, the settee is different, the table and chairs are not the same, outside loungers are cheap and dirty and not the ones on the website, the garden/hedges were overgrown. 7. Despite what the website says, there is no parking. The property is at the far end of a single file road - you have to reverse to get out and you cannot park on the road by the property. We had to park the car two streets away and out of our sight. 8. Given the owner would not engage I contacted BOOKING.COM. The owner who offered 15%, less than his original offer! Booking.

Location was the best thing about this villa

On arrivel we were greeted by numerous dead cockroaches to which we had to sweep up also had to spend 20 euros on cleaning products and it took us 6 hours to clean the place. The upstairs sun terrace was filthy and cussions were thick of cats hairs

La limpieza no era buena y había cucarachas

Tiene una plaga de cucarachas dentro del alojamiento. El propietario no ayuda en nada, dice que viene a fumigar pero si realmente se fumiga no puedes quedarte en el alojamiento. Hemos perdido 1500€ porque no nos devuelve el dinero, no facilita nada, se lava las manos, nos fuimos después de una TERRORÍFICA primera NOCHE. Nos dijo que nos regalaba la primera noche y venían a fumigar, esa plaga no permite quedarse ahí. LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA DE VACACIONES. Todo acabará en OCU, ni booking ni el propietario se hacen cargo. UNOS IMPRESENTABLES. Nos han fastidiado las vacaciones. La casa está SUCIA. Las almohadas lo siguiente de sucias…Hay cucarachas dentro, pequeñas , vaya CRÍAS. Además, las fotos no corresponden con mucho del mobiliario.

Plaga de cucarachas. No se hacen responsables ni el propietario ni booking. Nos tuvimos que ir, buscar otro alojamiento y perder 1500€. Un impresentable.

10 min walk to beach and main shops.. Very comfortable villa....we had a problem with the BBQ but the owner John was easy to contact and sorted out the issue straight away.. Pool was amazing the kids had a ball

A fab holiday we liked everything

The villa was lovely and clean everything you need the pool was a big hit with family the location is great close to supermarket and only a few minutes walk to the beach would definitely book again

The pool and rooftop terrace were fantastic.

only 2 Sun loungers for 6. Nothing else not to like
