Great small house tucked very privately up single lane drive past the owners house, nestled at edge of their old, now partially wooded, terraced vineyards, grassy areas and fruit trees, with nice free form walking enjoyable any time of day. Fine living area/kitchen, and upstairs bedroom/bathroom. Nicely decorated with many interesting objects and photos. Several outside sitting areas with overhanging vine covered arbors, a small but useful cooling pool…..so peaceful and pleasant. Short drive to amazing archeological site(Celtic and Roman), the Citania de Breteiros, one of the best in Portugal! Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage, fabulous decor, everything you could want. Quiet, peaceful & comfortable - honestly can't fault it in any way. Kind, communicative host who was a delight to meet. Loved everything!

Owner met us on arrival. Lovely garden and grounds well placed for visiting Braga and Guimarães. Nearby Citania de Briteiros Hilltop iron age settlement was fascinating and surprisingly extensive. Quirky house pity not to appreciate it to the full due to poor weather . Air con unit upstairs was useful and can be set to heat as well as cool upstairs.

Given cool weather a heater downstairs would have been useful. Main entrance sliding door couldn’t be locked from outside. Not really a problem as it’s such a tucked away place.
