The Yellow House

Everything at the Yellow house was exceptional, what a refreshing place to stay when travelling on a road trip wished we could of stayed longer.

The place was great . Comfy. Nice and quiet . Bed was comfy . Shower fab too.

A bird got stuck in rangehood.

Very quaint. Our favourite accommodation out of 5 other accommodation places we have stayed over nights 12 days.

No exhaust fans in laundry and bathroom. Condensation will become issue. No heating those two rooms.

Pretty little house in a great location, meters from the beach, very quiet, good layout. Large modern bathroom and kitchen, and a separate laundry room with a full-size washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately, the whole place could use a thorough cleaning. :

As mentioned, the house wasn’t really clean, we had to scrub the inside plastic cylinder of the washer (top loader) which was filthy with scum, in order to use it. There was laundry in the dryer that we had to take out in order to use it, and I don’t think I needed to see that they wash the sheets and towels together with what looked like rags for mopping the floors, or small rugs. The kitchen cabinets were full of crumbs, the windows dirty, found a dead bug on one of the beds and the velvety headboard of the queen bed had a year’s worth of dust on top, which yes, we cleaned, otherwise we couldn’t have slept there. Lots of junk in the closets, really old stuff that I’m not sure anyone would use. Outside furniture was also very dirty. A pity, since the place has good bones and with a few hours of scrubbing and decluttering it could be great
