Private reservation near KIX "Wakeikan"

We like the traditional Japanese house. The place is near the market & there is a local shop that sells homemade fish cakes, so oishii. It's a 12-15 mins walk to the station & it took 8 mins train ride to Kansai Airport. The house has 2 washers & a drying rack, and the laundry area is also used as a smoking area. The kitchen is small but functional & has cooking necessities. Bring/buy cooking spices with you if you plan to cook. There is a pharmacy 5 mins walk away where you can buy groceries & seasonings. Upstairs has 2 bedroom and they provided 5 futons for us. There is an extra bed, but we didn't use it. The stairs were decorated with (i think) kimono fabric, very cute. There is a scale underneath the sink near the dining table. We are happy with our stay. The host is gracious enough to leave a surprise welcome gift.

I'm surprised there is no tub, but it's OK, considered the size of the house. One of the AC units doesn't work, but since the weather was nice & not hot. We left the door between the bedroom open so we can share the AC. Towels need to be washed more, smelled musty.

It is very comfortable to live in, the room is clean and tidy, and the furnishings are very artistic. Self-service check-in is very convenient.

I love the whole Japanese house experience. It brought up so many find memories of my first Japan trip. And I am so happy I can show my daughter now. We only stayed 1 night due to airport layover and the host also arranged a taxi very early the next morning as I did not have a sim card with call function.

If you are a light sensitive sleeper I recommend a sleeping mask as the escape route sign is outside the bedroom and it shines very brightly.

Very near to Kansai Airport. Only two stations. There is suitable space to stay with family. Traditional design. Quiet neighborhood.

You need to walk a little for the station and large markets.

Spacious bedrooms. Very clean. Cozy . Good amenities. Clear instructions on how to use the remote controls, washing machine.

The location was great, for me it all driving distance.

The bed aren't very comfy, I guess that can be improve. also the toilet having bit of trouble flashing
