Lakefront Bellevue Lake Hawea Wanaka

The views were exceptional. Fantastic lakefront location. We were so pleased we stayed here instead of in Wanaka itself. Spacious. Laundry facilities. Good wifi. Grateful for slightly early check in so we could let baby have a sleep.

It was quite an old property - well loved. Was a bit dusty.

Location was perfect for what we were here for, as we had a wedding to attend not far from here. Bonus was been lake front with a beautiful view and felt like a home away from home💜

Excellent views over the lake from both inside and outside the house. Close to lakeside walks.

This lodge needs lots of caretaker's attention. The host is not doing the right job. Many dirty places in the house (unwashed dishes in the dishwasher; used linen placed in the washing machine ...). Some floor areas are not clean. One outside foldable chair, swing chair and one of the BBQ tables are broken. They should be fixed. This lodge needs to improve its living quality.

View was incredible! Location was also amazing. This property had everything we needed. It was very comfortable. Was great to be able to drop off our fridge food before we checked in!

The dishwasher was set to a basic cycle which couldn't be changed. It still worked ok but we ended up rewashing alot of dishes when they came out as they weren't clean. We noticed the drain got blocked easily as well. There was a plunger provided, so that came in handy. The pull out couch was ok for the kids but it wouldn't be that great for adults. The TV in the lounge didn't work either - just so you know for the next family.

The property’s lakefront location was exceptional, with easy access to walking trails and breathtaking stargazing opportunities on a clear night.

1. Insufficient and Poor-Quality Bedding: Booked for 8 people, but there were only 7 usable beds. Two single mattresses were so run-down they caved in the middle, raising health and safety concerns. 2. Kitchen and Cleanliness Issues: The moka pot was unusable due to a missing washer, and dirty dishes were left unwashed in the dishwasher, creating an unpleasant smell. 3. Lack of Basic Amenities: Basic toiletries like body wash and shampoo were not provided, a detail buried in a lengthy contract—a stark contrast to all other accommodations during our trip. 4. Host Responsiveness: Despite reaching out multiple times the following morning, we received no response from either host.

Small house, unclean and did not feel fresh at all. Lighting is very dim and multiple cords all around. Bed linen didn’t feel fresh and dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived.
